For those neighbors who maybe new to our neighborhood, Michele is a long-term resident of Nashville and District 29, who has always been actively involved with our communities. Over the last several years, it has become hard not to be aware of all the changes taking place in and around our city and neighborhoods. Especially in District 29.
Michele Vetter will bring back to our District and to our City Council, Voice and Representation for Everyone in our Community.
When Michele first moved to Nashville, almost 37 years ago, Nashville was one of the most beautiful, welcoming, safe and clean cities in all of the South. Everyone was everybody’s Neighbor. After discovering more about Nashville, Michele wanted to live in the beautiful Priest Lake Community.
Today, looking around, Nashville has changed. People do not know their neighbors. There is no longer that great feeling that once poured forth like music and sweet tea from our neighborhoods. Time keeps passing and things are changing, but not necessarily for the better, in our District.
Many feel forgotten and unheard. The problems that existed a few years ago, are not only still here, but they do not seem to have gotten any better. Some are worse. Crime. Lack of Representation/Leadership. Lack of infrastructure. Litter. Overcrowding/overbuilding. Lack of services. Lack of communication. People do not feel safe. Things happen that affect ALL of us, but, nobody seems to be informed. Worse, not many people think there are solutions. Many have lost faith, given up. Many more are moving away.
Michele has a plan of action to bring our community together in a positive, energized manner that will foster a culture of people working together to make our community better for everyone.
